That's the one thing samsung got right with the Note, the stylus has a pointy end. I think with most touch screens, they're wired to activate when a finger sized surface area pokes at them, which is probably why they have to have those pudgy rounded ends. This is just my guess. So wacom probably can't do much better until the tablets catch up. Samsung does say that the Note incorporates wacom technology.
Will be interesting to see how the sales go when they bring out the 10.1" Note. Quite a lot of careers out there could use a tablet with sketching options.
