Hi guys, so after some consideration I decided to start a new post seeing as I've not updated mine in over 1 000 000 years.

Am I really back on this forum after over a year of lurking? Why yes... I'm back! With nothing new. Except for this:

Website moved to here -> http://exhibeo.tumblr.com/ <- It's my new portfolio. Which is boring yes I know, but it's a WIP. Any ideas, crit or thoughts about it would be greatly appreciated.

Also here is batman I'm working on: Stole half the idea from someone else and went a bit further on it...


This one was a good start... but in the end it just annoyed me. So I worked a bit more on it.


And Came up with this, well this one looks better. It looks more like Bane now. But now Batman is hiding away. So I'll change the background at some point... not yet sure how to proceed on this. Any ideas?

You know, to be quite honest it always fasinates me how people can go about working on other peoples characters / existing work, when there's so much more potencial in everyone to make their own stuff, owk maybe your a big batman fan, or, maybe your getting payed to do it but, everytime I see a talented artist make an high def piece of artwork of a already existing character, I give out a little sigh... But eh, that's just me, I like doing my artwork from scratch. Anyway yes, that does look like bane, as a matter of fact, that looks exactly like bane! Just make it shocking bright lime green on a black background and you'll have a pretty sweet looking desctop background...

I agree with you completely on that, first reason why I didn't post this as my own unique work in the first place and tried to find the original work. Second while it did start off as a kind of tribute to batman (Yes I am a fan) it's changing a lot. As I'm looking at it I'm seeing all the changes I want to make. So by the end of it, it should look very different from what it does right now.

I'll do a lime green BG just for you. :p

Lol, I'm also a batman fan, he was my first and only favourite super heroe, I mean he seemed less gay than all the other thoisands out there and he didn't realy have super powers, he was just a real rich guy with allot of time on his hands, like that could actualy be plausible... Atleast half of it. But yea, then I discovered anime and my marvel and DC days kinda went down the drain... I can't remember the last time I actualy read a comic book by DC or marvel.

It's not just the money that makes him awesome, it's the company behind him. With their huge R & D department... makes for some truely epic times. A potent recipe.

Anyone got some crit for me? Maybe something you would change?

So far on the list:
- Neon Green BG :p
- Finish Bane's mask / face
- Work on Title Banner
- Brighten Batman logo somehow (Same as neon green bg)
- Play around with colors more
- Add in the final grunge effects

Heavens no! Make the icon/figure neon green (with those textures you got on it already and leave the background black.
